The Texas Master Gardeners of Williamson County will hold a free program on rose rosette disease on Aug. 8 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Williamson County. Rose rosette disease, as pictured on this rose bush, is a virus spread by mites. (Texas A&M AgriLife photo by Maddi Shires) The program will run from 7-8 p.m. at 100 Wilco Way, Room 226, Georgetown. Participants may arrive as early as 6:15 p.m. if they would like to take part in the social that precedes the monthly Master Gardener meeting.
